Learn more about the history, objectives and activities of the Foundation for the College of International Management and Business.
The Foundation for the College of International Management and Business was established in 1991 and began its activities in support of the College and its legal successors. In 2005, the Metropolitan Court reclassified the Foundation as a public benefit organisation.
The President of the Foundation is Prof. Dr. Endre Marinovich, former Director General of the Faculty and college professor.
The history of the College of International Management and Business dates back to 1957, to the establishment of the School for Correspondence Training in Foreign Trade. The College of International Management and Business began its educational activities in September 1971.

The establishment of the Foundation and the commencement of its activities.
2005
Reclassification as a public benefit foundation.
2008-2019
Organisation of jubilee reunions for alumni of the College of International Management and Business who graduated 25 years earlier.
2018-2023
Publication of the Diplomatic Lexicon and the New Diplomatic Lexicon in Hungarian and English.
2025
Organisation of the reunion of the class that graduated from the College of International Management and Business in 1998.
Organisation and support of internationally recognised continuing education and training programmes, as well as Hungarian- and foreign-language education and courses.
Support for primary and secondary research, archival research, surveys, research analysis and evaluation.
Support for book and journal publishing, the preparation of books and studies, translation into foreign languages, as well as professional, linguistic and foreign-language proofreading.
Support for participation in international conferences, study trips and professional development programmes.
Organisation of professional meetings with research and educational institutions, as well as companies, both in Hungary and abroad.
We consider it our mission to facilitate contact and professional exchange among alumni of the College of International Management and Business and its successor institutions.
